10 Fun Pet Memories to Capture on your phone

Do you ever go through your phone and look at fun pet memories of your fur babies?  Here are 10 favorite dog memories with our labrador retriever Sam.  Many memories happen so quickly, but then maybe we are lucky enough to capture a picture and want to remember that day forever.  We have some great ideas for capturing those pet memories forever too.  Maybe we are a little biased since we have a pet portrait website.  We hope you read through some of our pet memories and inspire you to share some of your favorite pet memories.  Please share your stories and leave a comment below.

Our 10 Favorite Pet Memories

1. The time our labrador retriever got our favorite shoe and ran around the fresh cut grass and stained his paws green.  The white tennis shoe also got green but the laughter of chasing Sam all over the backyard was worth it.  That silly boy thought he had found the best toy in the world and did not want to give it up.

2. First trip to the lake and watched as Sammie the lab made his first decision if he would love or hate water.  He loved it!  We took lots of breaks on his first water adventure and captured many beautiful pictures.  Our favorite may have been the one with his favorite stick he found.  Sammie was one proud pup!
3. First trip to the dog park and finding a sprinkler that created a nice mud puddle.  Rolling through the mud like it was chocolate ice cream and trying to eat it.  That was a quick trip!
4. Finding a sock under the bed and running around the house thinking this was a fun game of keep away from my human.  Still to this day we think the sock had some magic scent to give Sam the zoomies.
5. Going for a walk and seeing my first cat and wondering what it could be?  The cat of course was super confident sleeping on the driveway but Sam could not believe that this wild animal was all alone and off leash.  Would it attack him?  Nope…just a great picture of curiosity on his face.
6. Having my first ice cube and wondering why it was so cold yet so refreshing?  The random ice cube that shot out of the refrigerator door and fell on the floor.  It was wet and tasty and made for a cold tongue.  Sam approved.
7. Our labradors first bath and watching the look on his face as he loved the water yet didn’t enjoy the soapy part.  I think the treats at the end helped but he was always cautious when the hose came out.
8. First Halloween costume.  We had fun watching our dogs walk around as superhero’s and try and figure out what this special holiday was all about.  The yummy doggie treats were definitely worth it! We should totally get some custom pet art with Sam in his halloween costume.
9. Doggie playdates with my friends.  Our lab loved chasing balls in a friends backyard and taking lots of turns drinking water.  Then grab the ball and run out for more fun!
10. Car rides are the best!  Could it be the dog park, swimming at the lake, a doggie playdate or a trip?  We love capturing pics of our happy lab as he jumped into the backseat.
